ical2calendar
ical2calendar is a command line tool to convert iCalendar/VCalendar meeting requests to ~/.calendar/calendar entries. I’m primarily a mutt user so I set a mailcap entry of “text/calendar ical2calendar %s” and simply press enter on meeting.ics attachments in emails. Very useful for work and saves me having to run a graphical mail client.
Save and put the ical2calendar file in your $HOME/bin or /usr/bin directories (or anywhere on your $PATH)
Requires Python.
